Vanessa is a highly motivated and creative craft enthusiast with a deep passion for jewellery design and making. Constantly exploring new ways to grow, both personally and professionally, she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication (with Honours, Distinction) from Nanyang Technological University’s School of Art, Design, and Media in 2020.

 

After 3 enriching years at a Japanese fine jewellery brand and while building the foundation of her own label, she took the leap to deepen her expertise by pursuing a Master's in Jewellery Design at Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Rome in 2024.

Currently, actively working on establishing her personal jewellery brand while serving as an Alumni Mentor in NTU's Student Talent Development Programme, where she support and guide young creatives. Vanessa is also training to become a certified Pilates instructor, embracing a lifestyle of discipline, wellness, and continuous self-improvement.

​

With over 6 years of experience in visual communication, jewellery design, crafting, and luxury retail, her design language continues to evolve, deeply inspired by culture, human connection, and the many people she met across more than 15 countries.

 

For her, design isn’t just about making something beautiful. It’s about telling stories and transforming the intangible into meaningful, wearable art.

When she not designing or mentoring, you’ll likely find her at the gym, in a dance or Pilates class, or indulging in hands-on hobbies like crochet, pottery, cooking, baking, or picking up a new language.

​
